These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Plate Balance (the "Service"), operated by Renan calefi ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Plate Balance provides photo-based meal tracking, physical progress tracking, AI-assisted nutrition insights, and a marketplace connecting users with health professionals. The Service is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• using it for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
• infringing intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• uploading malware, scraping, probing, or interfering with security or infrastructure;
• reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service.

4. Health Disclaimer

Plate Balance is not a medical device. Nutrition estimates, AI suggestions, and coach interactions are for general informational purposes and do not replace professional medical, dietary, or psychological advice. Consult a qualified professional before making health decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, content, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of content you upload (meal photos, measurements, etc.) and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments, Subscriptions & Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

7. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated violations of our policies. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or via paddle.net.

8. Warranties & Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to Paddle in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
